Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence

Most of the team at TecHaus have been involved in the analysis of data for many years. It comes with the territory when working in innovation and technology.

All of the software we create analyses and uses data in some way. When you love data and you love the insights and benefits of data, when something like AI comes along, you get excited.

Artificial Intelligence means a few different things at TecHaus.

  1. Inferring meaning from data using artificial intelligence models
  2. Automating work and jobs using artificial intelligence models
  3. General Artificial Intelligence or even synthetic consciousness

At TecHaus we work on all three of these.

We use AI to find and infer meaning in data and datasets. This use of AI is incredibly cost effective because its become very cheap and easy to use AI to look for information, insights and meaning.

We use AI to automate work where doing so adds value to the customer, provides them with a better outcome than the current solutions, provides staff with a better outcome than the current solutions or provides the business with support to provide a better solution to customers or staff. All of our AI work companions are developed so our customers retain ownership of them.

We research artificial general intelligence and synthetic consciousness because it provides us not only technical insights, products and opportunities. It also allows us to see into the human mind. Being able to see into the human mind better allows our coaching and training staff to create better content. So there is a double benefit to doing researching artificial general intelligence.

Some interesting facts about the human brain

At birth we have approximately 86,000,000,000 (86 billion) neurons.

At birth we have approx 2,500 synapses per neuron

At 2 years old we have approx 15,000 synapses per neuron. This is the peak number of synapnes.

Between 3 and 4 years old, synapses reduce to 10,000 per neuron.

From 5 to 18 years of age, synapses reduce to 5,000 per neuron.

From the age of 50 onwards, there is a gradual decline in the number of synapses.
