Joerg Medical Software

Joerg Medical Software

Joerg Medical Software started as an idea in mid 2024.

An orthopaedic surgeon had the idea and presented it to Nathan Aherne our founder. They had met previously at an equestrian event years earlier, so when it came time to develop a business idea, the orthopaedic surgeon thought of Nathan and his experience developing businesses.

One of the things TecHaus and Nathan recommends when you build a business is the magic number 5. You need 5 good people running the company at least. More than 5 and it starts to get unwieldy, less than 5 and it becomes risky. With 1 person, there is key person risk. With 2 people, there is no one to break a deadlock. With 3 people, you can break a deadlock but there is no redundancy, someone gets sick or dies or gets in a disagreement with the other 2 and now you have significant risk in the business. With 4, its the same as 2, there is no way to break a deadlock in a timely fashion. With 5, you can have one person sick, one on holidays and 3 working and there are no issues, the business still operates. For a large business, 7 people might be a good number, purely because it provides more redundancy.

After a month or so of planning, they bought on 2 more experts in their field, making us a 4 person team and as of August 2025, the Joerg team were actively bringing on another team member to make it 5.

As of August 2025, after testing their initial idea for the past 12 months and finding a solid product market fit, they will be raising $2 million in capital to fund the creation of their products.

Now we cannot tell you what the software is right now, you will need to wait until it is released sometime in early 2026.
