Patinack Farm was built from nothing to one of the largest thoroughbred breeding and racing stables in Australia. It had operations and facilities spread across eastern Australia. We worked with Patinack Farm from the start, providing all ICT infrastructure and innovation support until it was sold.
We did this in the Reddog days.
We had no experience in the equestrian industry before working with Patinack Farm.
Patinack Farm was one of the largest thoroughbred breeding, training and racing stables in Australia. With approximately to $500 million Australian dollars spent on horses, locations and facilities within a few years. Staff numbers were approximately 200 across 27 sites all around the country. Capital cities, remote studs, food production.
Installing Telstra Towers.
Before January 2008 Patinack Farm did not exist.
We were tasked with supplying, installing and maintaining all of the ICT equipment across the entire business and making sure the business processes and ICT matched the requirements of this very unique business.
Patinack Farm had some very unique software requirements, for example, they used specialised asset tracking software for horses.
In 2014 Patinack Farm was sold to a middle eastern consortium.
